Mr Suresh Kumar Raut is a social entrepreneur with 23 years of experience in the livelihood sector. He has studied both Master in Social Work and Rural Management from Allahabad Agriculture University and IGNOU, he has experience at the grassroots level on institution building, resource mapping of natural resource management, promoting business organization with involvement of small and marginal farmers for livelihood promotion, supply chain and value chain management of agriculture surplus products. He is the founder of non-profitable organization Pallivikash and also founder director of Marjyada Farmers Producer Company Limited in 2014.

Suresh is known for his special interest for associating and supporting to social, cultural and livelihood based institution in the district. His area of interest are strengthening Farmers Producer Organizations, Agriculture based livelihood promotion, Capacity building training and strategies development, Natural Farming, Management of Social Enterprise, Product and Market Development for strengthening livelihood of small and marginal farmers including marginalized communities.

As an Expert Director, he acts as a guide, coach and mentor to the company. He is responsible for ensuring better governance in the producer company. He is supporting on business planning, business strategies development, establish market linkages, evaluating performance of the board and management, proposal development and its linkages with different stakeholders and establishing credit linkages with Bankers and Non Banking Financial Company.
